James is inspired by memorable and quirky soundscapes.

Having worked in the music industry over the last decade, James’ compositions are informed by a range of contemporary styles and influences such as ambient, singer-songwriter, heavy/punk, roots & blues, indie, alternative, electronic, classical, synth pop and folk.

In 2017, James graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Composition and Production) from the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney and since has been involved as a key member in projects such as The Wattles and The Dolphin Show.

Since 2018, James has been actively learning about filmmaking processes and how to best design sounds for cutting edge visuals. In 2023 he obtained a Certificate IV in Film & Screen Production from TAFE NSW.
